My icon might suggest that I am a K/S shipper. I am not (although I have nothing against those who are.) I just really like the friendship between Kirk and Spock and am looking forward to seeing it develop in the reboot universe.

Well, what to say? I'm not new to the concept of fanfiction, and have written a bit of it in the past for fandoms such as Harry Potter, CSI: Miami, and CSI: NY. It's only been recently that my interest in Star Trek has driven me to write fanfiction and I felt the need to find a clean slate to post it to, so here I am! However, if I find that I have a fanfiction idea for some of my old fandoms, I will be posting those here, too. In the meantime, I'll be content with my Spock/Uhura fascination. :)

A bit about me: I hold a BA in English Literature and I minored in both Linguistics and Anthropology. I'm currently working on my teaching certification, and I know way more about drapery than I ever thought I would before I accepted a position at my current job. I'm open to friend requests and I appreciate comments and critiques.
